ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints Rolling To Greenville Speedway

GREENVILLE, Miss. (May 14, 2024) Making the return to Greenville Speedway on Saturday, May 18, the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints roll into the first of four nights at the Mississippi oval in 2024.

The season’s sixth round of competition, the tour’s last outing atop the gumbo quarter-mile was on August 12, 2023, with Brad Bowden earning the win. Already collecting a win in 2024 with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints, Bowden stood tall at Jackson Motor Speedway on April 27.

Five nights in with just as many winners, Jan Howard sits atop the standings going into Greenville with an 86-point gap over defending series champion Brandon Blenden. Evan McElhaney holds third, with Lane Whittington and Jake Brashier making up the top-five.

Looking at a $2,000 payday to make it to Victory Lane on Saturday, the evening’s card will include the wingless Capital City Sprints. Saturday, May 18, opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for youth (6-10), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $35.
